Welcome. Can you please state your name, in case anyone doesn’t recognise you?I'm Luce Iblis, CEO of the HELL Corporation. Everyone knows me.

Now, you're one of the supporting characters in Demelza Carlton's Mel Goes to Hell series. Can you tell us a little bit about that? I'm not sure why it's called that. I mean, the whole series is about me. My exploits from when my corporation employs a new office angel.

Ah, okay. Can you tell me a bit about her? Who, the new office temp? I haven't seen much of her yet, but that will change. She had a musical name. Merry? No, Melody. She was unusual – not like most of the agency girls. They all come in dressed in white as if they've never done a bit of work in their lives. I spilled the cold dregs of my coffee on one of them once – her shriek was so loud, she might've woken the dead. I made it a point to be around when we interviewed new ones after that – it was fun to see their reactions when their perfect white shirt turned brown, wet and transparent.

What was Melody's reaction? Melody…see, she was different from the start. She had a white shirt, sure, but under a light brown suit. Kind of golden brown, like a macchiato. Like she wasn't as pure as the others – already a little corrupted, if you know what I mean. Not afraid to get a bit dirty. And the tits on her? Damn, made you want to rip that jacket and shirt right off her so you could worship them properly. Damn. What was your question again?

Ah, her reaction? When you spilled coffee on her? Oh, right. Coffee. Well, I had a full cup that day and she ran into me at full tilt, just like I wanted. Knocked the coffee clean out of the cup, right into the air. I figured it'd be everywhere. I even got some on my shoes. Lili's shoes were full of it – she was squelching around in them all day. But Melody…Hell, she didn't get a drop on her. As if the coffee wouldn't dare to spoil that perfection. And she just smiled, shook my hand and left. That's when I knew I had to have her.

I see. Mr Iblis, have you ever been in love? Or ever had your heart broken? In love? You mean that animistic, pheromone-enhanced state where your body wants to sleep with someone so bad that it persuades your head that there is more than pure, unadulterated lust between you? Hell no. If I want to sleep with someone, I seduce them until we do. End of story. Who'd want love? That would mean handing your emotions, your heart and soul to someone so they could one day reject you, screwing up your most precious parts and throwing them away like an empty eggshell, to be crushed and obliterated in the darkness of some landfill pit. Someone you once trusted and cared about, which is even more painful. Why would I ever subject myself to that sort of agony again?

So you have had your heart broken? Of course not. I wouldn't trust anyone with my heart.

Who would you say you're closest to? Right now, that'd be you. Would you like me to be closer

Ah, no. That's fine. What's your favourite scent? Why, so you can wear it later? In the morning, it's coffee. But if you're talking about what I like most, that would be a combination of scents. Myrrh, coconut and sandalwood, with a touch of lemon and neroli.

Why? Why is that scent…sorry, mixture of scents…so poignant for you? It's what I imagine Heaven smells like.

Do you have any secrets? Yes.

Will you tell me what they are? Well, that depends on what you're willing to do in order to hear them. I'm not a man to share my soul lightly and I'd expect an equal exchange. Are you willing to spill your soul?

Ah, the interview is all about you, Mr Iblis, so we'll skip to the next question, I think. What's your favourite colour? White.

I'm sorry. You're dressed entirely in black. Your shoes, pants, shirt, tie, jacket – all black. Yet your favourite colour is white. Can you tell me why? White's the colour of purity and angels. It's the colour of infinite possibility, innocence and a virgin slate. With the right stimulus, white can become any colour under the sun – including black.

What makes you laugh out loud? Someone who thinks she can resist me. Some think they can, but it isn't long before they submit to me. I'm irresistible, you see.

What's on your bedside table right now? Let's see…today's Monday and the cleaner isn't due until Friday. I think there are six sets of underwear, mostly lace but one of the girls had this studded leather number. Maybe seven, I'm not sure. A bedside lamp and an alarm clock. A couple of sets of handcuffs and the keys. Pretty standard after a quiet weekend, really.

I'm sorry – you keep a collection of women's underwear on your bedside table? Are they trophies, or is that where your partner likes to keep her underwear? Or do you wear it yourself? It's just where it lands when I'm busy. Most girls want me to keep their underwear to remember them by. My cleaner told me there are phone numbers written on some of them. I don't know. She'll clean them all up on Friday and next weekend's girls will start a new collection. Why, would you like to see me in women's underwear? I can absolutely rock a corset, if that's what you're thinking. But you'd have to make it worth my while…

If you were doing your own spring cleaning – ah, not your cleaner, but you – what would be the most difficult thing for you to throw out? That's easy. Any bottle of whisky with just one glass left in it. I couldn't throw it out until it's empty, but it might not be the right time to drink that particular one, either.

What is your greatest fear? None of your damn business.

Okay. When and where were you the happiest? That's none of your damn business, either.

What impression do you make on people when they first meet you? Most people find me irresistible from the beginning. I can't help it – it's just who I am.

How about after they've known you for a while? Most want more of me by then, depending on how soon they give in to me. They also know they'll have to offer something pretty valuable in return to get it, though.

What do you like best about yourself? What's not to like? I'm the devilishly hot CEO of the HELL Corporation. Women swoon for me and men…they tend to do the same, which can get quite awkward, sometimes.

What do you want most out of life? Anything I can get. I have particular tastes, but I want the most. That's all.

But what do you really want? World domination sounds good. I'll take that and any perks that come with it.

Say you're using that new office temp for something...what would it be? You mean Melody Angel? That one? She's one of my staff – it could be anything. But what I'd really like is for her to rip off that tight little skirt, open her shirt and let those perfect breasts spill out, so I can bend her over the desk and have my way with her. Several times over a long, hard afternoon. Then we'll see how white her shirt is…

Have you ever heard of sexual harassment? Sexual harassment? Ha, no!

It's when someone makes unwanted sexual advances in the workplace. Oh, I know what you're referring to. But it's not something that happens in my office. When I make an offer, it's always gratefully accepted. Eventually. Never unwanted.

So what do you think Melody is using you for? Ha. Hahahaha…Melody Angel? Using me? That girl was wearing innocence like a cloud of her delectable perfume. She wouldn't know how to use someone with my power. Oh, I can do plenty for her – perhaps that's what she wants. My favour.

How do you feel about that? It's what everyone wants from me. Favours, for me to use the wealth and power I have to help them. Provided I get my money's worth from them in return, who cares? It's business.

Really? You don't think it would be personal for her? Oh, her payment to me is likely to be very personal, but it's still a business arrangement. I never take anything that isn't offered, though I can be quite persuasive when I do want something.

Even though we hope she'll never do it, for now just pretend it could happen: What's the worst thing Melody could do to you? It's not the bad things she could do to me – it's all the bad things I want to do to her. And with her. And I suspect she's longing to do all sorts of things to me. Why else would she be at the HELL Corporation?

Why would that be so bad? Did I say it would be? That sweet girl could become an absolute star in the bedroom if she's willing. Or on my desk, if she's a quick learner.

Why would you deserve it? I'm Luce Iblis, the sexy CEO of the HELL Corporation. No one's more deserving than I am when it comes to sexy women.

What's the worst thing you could do to Melody? I could steal her mind, body and soul, corrupting her to Hell for all eternity. Hahaha, or I could offer her a permanent job in my company.

Why would she deserve it? If her performance in the office exceeded my expectations, I might offer such a deal to her. I might not, too. It depends if she has what it takes to make me happy.

What is your idea of perfect happiness? I wouldn't know.

All right. What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? That's none of your business.

What is your greatest regret? Agreeing to do this interview. I have a stack of reports on my desk to approve for release, including Melody's first one. I'm looking forward to showing her the standard of work I expect from her. Are we done here?

Yes, I think we are. Thank you for an interesting insight into your unique character, Mr Iblis.

Happily Ever Alpha Box Set - Character Interview & Giveaway

A special welcome to Aimee Easterling with a character interview from her novel Jaguar at the Portal, part of the Happily Ever Alpha box set!

Aimee: Thanks for dropping by, Ixchel and Finn. I thought it might be fun to test your knowledge of each other in the Newlywed Game!
Jaguar at the Portal

Ixchel: But we're...

Finn: Sounds like fun!

Ixchel: ...Not married. Okay, whatever.

Aimee: Thanks for being such good sports. You'll notice you each have a notepad in front of you. I'm going to start with an easy question about Finn. He'll write down his answer and then Ixchel has to guess what he wrote. Finn, if you could be any animal, what would you be?

[They pause while Finn scribbles on the notepad.]

Ixchel: [rolling her eyes] This is an easy one. A jaguar of course.

Aimee: Finn? [She accepts the pad of paper out of his hand and takes a look.] Oops! Not quite right. Looks like Finn would be...a dolphin!

Ixchel: But that makes no sense! You are a were-jaguar.

Finn: She said, if I could be any animal, which would I be. And I'd be a dolphin.

Ixchel: [sighing] Okay. Let's get this over with. I've got puppies in the waiting room that need their shots. What's next?

Aimee: Now we get to test Finn's knowledge. So I'll ask Ixchel --- what do you consider your greatest weakness?

[Finn scrunches his eyebrows together, obviously thinking hard as Ixchel scribbles for a long time on her pad of paper.]

Aimee: Okay, Finn, you're up. What's Ixchel's greatest failing?

Finn: So, first of all, this is one of those trick questions that men have a right not to answer.

Ixchel: Oh, come on. I'm not going to get mad at you.

Finn: [gazing into her eyes] But, see, it's not really a trick question. Because Aimee didn't ask what I think is your greatest failing --- which, by the way, is nothing. She asked what you think is your greatest failing. And you'd say...trust.

Aimee: Well, it seemed like Ixchel was writing a novel over there. So let's see if Finn was right.

[Ixchel grins as she flips the paper over. The edges are covered with doodles, but in the center she's boldly scrawled "TRUST."]

Aimee: Finn's on a roll! Okay, let's see if Ixchel can catch up as we ask Finn....what would prompt you to tell a lie?

[Now it's Finn's turn to look uncomfortable, but he quickly scribbles his answer.]

Aimee: Ixchel?

Ixchel: [reaching over and taking Finn's hand] You know, we can leave if you want to.

Finn: [taking a deep breath] No, I'm good. It's your chance to shine.

Ixchel: Okay, in that case, Finn would say --- fear.

Teaser imageAimee: Looks like you know him pretty well after all. Now, for our final question. Ixchel...do you believe in love at first sight?

[Finn perks back up as they wait for Ixchel to decide. She taps the pen against her lips, scrunches up her nose, then shrugs and writes.]

Aimee: [accepting the paper, then smiling knowingly] So, what do you think, Finn?

Finn: [sounding positive of the outcome] She doesn't, but I do.

[Ixchel's stiff spine melts a bit as she takes the paper back from the interviewer and flips the pad over. It reads "I didn't used to...but I've changed my mind."]

Aimee: Well, it looks like it's a tie, folks!

Finn: You could say that. Or you could say we both won.

[Finn pulls Ixchel in for a kiss on the lips.]

Aimee: Ooookay. Let's keep this PG, kids. We'll try out another round after this commercial break.

Deep-voiced announcer: Want to learn more about Finn and Ixchel's adventures facing down Mexican gods and falling in love? Check out Aimee Easterling's Jaguar at the Portal, available for a limited time in the 21-novel bundle Happily Ever Alpha. When once upon a time isn't enough....

The Divide by E.J. Mellow - Interview & Giveaway

Welcome to E.J. Mellow, author of The Divide! Today we have an interview with E.J. and Dev- the leading man from The Divide.

KIMBER LEIGH: Thanks so much for joining me today EJ and Dev! I’m so excited to have the author and her leading dreamboat character sitting down with me today.

(EJ eyes Dev from the side as he smirks in his chair)

EJ: You probably could have left out dreamboat.

DEV: But it was the best part of that sentence.

EJ: I know better than to engage further in this. Sorry to interrupt, Kimber. You can keep going.

(Kimber smiles)

KIMBER: No problem at all. I was wondering if you could each share three interesting things about each other.

EJ: Oh boy. Are they meant to be complimentary?

DEV: Ha—Ha. You’re a comedian today, EJ, I’ll go first, since I know you’ll need the extra time to sift through all my amazing facts.

(Dev pats EJ on the knee)

DEV: Okay, number one, she’s a horrible speller—

EJ: Hey!

DEV: Number two, she likes it super warm in her office when she’s writing.

EJ: I like to be cozy.

DEV: Cozy—In all of Terra, it’s a sauna in there! I mean, I can feel it through the pages.

EJ: Well, maybe that’s why I can write you so steamy.

(Dev snorts out a laugh)

DEV: We all know I don’t need help in the steam department.

EJ: Oh Lord.

DEV: And number three would have to be that the song, If I Could Turn Back Time by Cher, gets stuck in her head way more than what’s probably healthy. She sings it at least twice a day and has annoyingly passed the habit to me. The only good thing is that it now drives Aveline crazy.

(EJ starts humming, If I Could Turn Back Time)

DEV: Don’t start!

(Kimber laughs)

KIMBER: Well, those are definitely facts you learn after hanging out with someone as much as you two do. EJ, what are three interesting things about Dev?

EJ: The first is that he never listens to my story outline. Sometimes I don’t even know why I bother with them when he’s involved.

DEV: Because you secretly love when I walk outside the lines.

(EJ glances at him sideways)

EJ: The second is probably that he has a sweet tooth. I always pictured him more of a salty man over a savory, but he loves his candy.

DEV: Holding back so many comments to that one.

(EJ rolls her eyes)

EJ: And the third is that he can surprisingly whistle really well. But like…really well. I made him listen to Bohemian Rhapsody once and he whistled the whole thing back perfectly.

DEV: It’s all about lip placement

(He winks at Kimber).

EJ: I can’t bring you anywhere.

KIMBER: Well, I love it all. Those facts were so fun to hear. Thank you E.J. and Dev for doing this.

EJ: Thank you so much for having us!

DEV: Are those pastries over there?

(EJ smacks Dev’s shoulder)

DEV: Ow, what was—? Oh, yes thank you.

(Kimber holds back a laugh)

KIMBER: You’re welcome. And for all those who stopped by for the interview, thanks for joining us!

Meet Arwan from Mayan Blood by Theresa DaLayne + Giveaway

I love character interviews!! Enjoy :)

Character interview with Theresa DaLayne

Character Name: Arwan
Character Bio:
Orphan and gifted Riyata, Arwan grew up at Renato’s estate in Belize after his mother was murdered by an underworld enemy. For years he has denied his Mayan ancestry and shunned his bloodline. Now that Zanya—the Stone Guardian—is back and bonded with her stone, he must face the darkest part of his soul in order to find the revenge he continues to seek.
I don’t have a photo of Arwan, nor do I want to assign one. He is a unique looking twenty-something year old with tan skin, dark eyes, sharp cheekbones, long-ish dark hair, and a keen talent for martial arts. He also has a very rare ability called timebending, which he does not often use in fear of changing the course of history and affecting the future in negative ways that he cannot undo.
Me: Describe yourself what is your worst and best quality?
Arwan:
Focus. Normally that would be a good quality, but I tend to be overly focused on a goal and do not stop perusing it until I’ve accomplished it.  Maybe that’s how I earned Zanya’s affections. Once I knew I wanted her, I couldn’t stop until I made my best effort to earn her trust.
Me: Have you?
Arwan: It’s a work in process.
Me: Do you think you deserve her trust?
Arwan: No. Not in the least.
Me: Why?
Arwan: Can we move to the next question please?
Me: Why?
Arwan: Because I’m not entirely comfortable telling you something I haven’t told her first.
Me: Fair enough. What about your best quality?
Arwan: I would say patience. I need patience while training—especially with Peter due to is lack of practice. He spends far too much time with Tara and not enough time in the dojo.
Me: It sounds like you’re angry with him.
Arwan: Angry? No, I’m not angry. Just…concerned. I don’t want him to fall behind. But knowing Zanya now, I can’t blame him for being hesitant to leave Tara. It’s hard to be away from the person you care about.
Me: What are you most afraid of?
Arwan: Failure. I’ve worked my entire life to prepare for the moment I can finally avenge my mother’s death. Plus, now I have more than just myself to protect. There’s no one else to lead the rest of the group, and I have to be there. It’s my job, and I can’t fail.
Me: What do you want more than anything?
Arwan. Peace.
Me: What kind? There are a lot of kinds of peace.
Arwan: All kinds. For too many years I’ve struggled to achieve inner peace, but that’s not possible because of who…what, I am. Maybe someday I can find a balance. That’s about the best I can hope for.
Me: What is your relationship status?
Arwan: It’s…complicated.
Me: You’re not going to improvise, are you?
Arwan: No, I’m not.
Me: Okay then. How much of a rebel are you?
Arwan: I think that’s more of a question for Jayden. Me? I prefer structure. Though I suppose Renato wouldn’t completely agree with the current events.
Me: What do you considered to be your greatest achievement?
Arwan: Taking control of my darker side. Commanding it. That is by far my greatest achievement to date.
Me: What is your current state of mind?
Arwan: I’m nervous.
Me: Why?
Arwan: Because I’m not used to people probing into my personal life. Into my head. Marzena, the young dreamwalker, gives me space. She doesn’t intrude into my thoughts. This interview feels a lot like when she reaches into my head.
Me: What is your most treasured possession?
Arwan: Does it have to be an object?
Me: Yes.
Arwan: My glaive.
Me: What’s that?
Arwan: It’s a weapon I use in both training and fighting—a spear with a long, curved blade at the end.
Me: You don’t have anything more personal you cherish?
Arwan: I don’t have many personal items. I’ve never needed them. I live with Renato, have the dojo at my disposal, and the jungle as my refuge.
Me: Which living person do you, most despise?
Arwan: I suppose it would be wrong to say Jayden. *grins *
Me: I don’t think Zanya would be thrilled to hear you say that.
Arwan: No, she wouldn’t. And in reality it’s not the truth.
Me: So who is it?
Arwan: Sarian—and my father. Both of them equally and as fiercely. The end.
Me: What is your greatest regret?
Arwan: Existing.
Me: Why?
Arwan: I’d rather not elaborate. Are we almost finished?
Me: Yes, we are. Lets change things up. What is the quality you most like in a woman?
Arwan: Stubbornness and self-confidence.
Me: Most men dislike a stubborn woman.
Arwan: Not me. It tells me she knows what she wants. I like that.
Me: Which living person do you most admire?
Arwan: My mentor, Renato. He is like my father, and I have great respect for him.
Me: What is your motto?
Arwan: You always have a choice.
Me: We’re all finished up. Once again, Arwan, thank you for the interview.
Arwan: Great. Thank you.

Mayan Blood (Stone Legacy #1)
by Theresa DaLayne
Release Date: December 29th 2015
Limitless Publishing

Summary from Goodreads:

Their empires have fallen, but their mythology lives on…

Zanya Coreandero is a seventeen-year-old orphan with only a single friend and no hope for a normal life. Diagnosed with anxiety and night terrors, no one believes her cuts and bruises are a result of an evil entity, and not a brutal case of self-harm.

With the only home she’s ever known being the isolated institution—where breakfast is a handful of medications, the psychiatry sessions are mandatory, and her every move is watched—the only relief is her red-haired roommate named Tara, who’s more like a little sister than her best friend.

Free will is strong, but destiny is stronger.

When Zanya is kidnapped, she meets a group of gifted Mayan descendants, each with a unique ability. Gone from a nameless castaway to the only hope of mankind, Zanya is forced to make a grueling decision: bond with an enchanted stone and save humanity from rising underworld forces, or watch helplessly as Earth falls victim to a familiar dark deity from her dreams. This time, he’s playing for keeps.

A wicked secret hides behind a handsome face…

When Arwan, a dark-eyed timebender, takes interest in Zanya's mission, it's unclear if his intention is to help, or if he's on a hell-bent mission for revenge. Wary of falling for another guy with major secrets and a tainted past, Zanya fights to keep her distance. If only her heart gave her a choice.

Theresa DaLayne is a north-south-east-western kind of girl with a quirky personality to match her nomad life. Always on the lookout for a new story, Theresa is a shameless eavesdropper and will take anyone who provides inspiration and mold them into a character without a second thought. She enjoys writing both paranormal and contemporary stories, considering her mind wanders between worlds of fantasy while she’s forced to live in the real world, very much against her will.

Character Q and A with Megan Haskell, Author of Sanyare + Giveaway

Please help me welcome Megan Haskell, author of Sanyare. She is joining us for a Character Q and A with her main character, Rie. Don't miss her giveaway at the end of the post!

Interview with Rie from Sanyare
Before the official questions start, tell us a little bit about yourself.

The basics are pretty boring. My name is Nuriel Lhéthannien, but I prefer to be called Rie. I was born an orphan in the Human Realm, and taken to the High Court of Faerie to be raised as a changeling by lesser high elf nobles. I was lucky. My wardens, Curuthannor and Lhéwen treated me more as a daughter than the slave I could have been.
Curuthannor is King Othin’s general and high commander of his personal guard. When I showed interest in the martial arts, he ignored my human deficiencies and trained me to fight alongside his noble students.
At the same time, Lhéwen — one of the most sought after seamstresses in the Upper Realm — taught me how to interact with the nobility, how to serve and remain unseen while seeing and hearing everything around me. They turned out to be useful skills.
Ultimately, I earned a place in the High Court Messengers, a rare position of respect for a human.

1) Since you’re a fighter, what’s your favorite weapon?

That’s easy, the khukuri blades. The knives that I carry have an eight inch blade, and were designed specifically for my hand. Mine have red jasper grips inlaid with white aventurine, and a black jet palm ring set with red garnets. The copper bolsters — the metal caps at the front and back of the grips —  are enchanted with four runes: Ansuz for insight and communication, Perthro for seeing the future and knowing one’s path, Tiwaz for honor, justice, and leadership, and Uruz for physical strength and speed. They were gifted to me before I left…
Anyway, they’re my most valuable possessions.
But after everything that happened, I think I’m going to have to learn more about human firearms. Most of the fae haven’t bothered to pay attention to the human inventions of the last few centuries, military or otherwise. It turns out, a good pistol can be a fierce advantage.

2) You’ve traveled to many of the nine realms in your role as a messenger. Which is your favorite?

I really haven’t been to that many, yet. I was raised in the Upper Realm, in the glittering light of Curuthannor’s estate near Etsiramun. I’ve also visited the Human Realm, of course, and though your beaches are beautiful, the loss of magic is somehow heartbreaking. The Shadow Realm is too dark, but I love how the different races have begun to interact and participate. King Aradae has done a good job, in my opinion, of improving the relations across the different cultures. I’ve also been to the Winter Court, but I was only there for a few hours. It was cold.
So I guess, to answer your question, I would say that every realm has its good and bad, but my favorite location, the only place I’m truly able to relax, is in Lord Garamaen’s hall, here in the Human Realm. The walls of this estate hold a bit of magic, faerie creatures of all races are welcomed and respected — even the humans — and I don’t have to worry about court politics or maintaining appearances. I can just be.

3) What’s your number one tip for traveling the nine realms?

Always know where you’re going and do your best to blend in with the native population. I’m not always successful at this, myself, but I’ve found that the less conspicuous you are, the easier your path.

4) In the spirit of Halloween, what are some of the scariest monsters you’ve come across?

First of all, I reject the term ‘monster’. They are the fae, friendly or not. I’ll forgive the human terminology, but please use the appropriate term in the future.

That said, many of the fae would be considered scary, by your terms. Even the smallest, like the pixies, have a dangerous side. But if you’re going for pure physical intimidation, my friend Turant would rate high on the list. He’s a longma, and looks like a cross between a dragon and a horse. He has six flexible whiskers like the trunk of an elephant, spikes that run the length of his back and down his serpentine tail, and he can breathe fire. Bigger than a draft horse, I am unable to mount his back unassisted, and he’s not even fully grown. Some day soon, he’ll also be able to fly.
People clear out of his way pretty quickly.

5) Last, but not least, do you believe in ghosts?

Ghosts? No. Souls? Absolutely. The Daemon Realm is supposed to care for and guard the souls of those waiting to be reborn. I suppose, occasionally, they might escape their afterlife and return to the physical world to check on a loved one or attempt to snatch a body, but I’m pretty sure that’s against the rules. The Moirai would be quick to send out the reapers to reclaim the fugitive. The punishment wouldn’t be pleasant.

A human woman trapped between two great faerie realms…

Trained as an elite fighter and educated in the ways of the elves, Nuriel "Rie" Lhéthannien has worked decades to be accepted into the High Court messenger service. It's a simple enough occupation, but in a realm where humans are treated as little better than slaves, it's a position she'll do anything to protect.
On a routine delivery in the Human Realm, Rie is attacked by assassins from the enemy Shadow Realm and framed as a traitor. Facing execution at the hand of an unmerciful king, she evades capture and crosses the portal into enemy lands to prove her innocence.
Surprising allies arise from the shadows, assisting her search and uncovering secrets she didn't know she kept. With the risk of discovery lurking at every turn, Rie must use every weapon in her arsenal to uncover the truth behind the attack. If she fails, death will be the least of her worries.
Featuring a lowly human out of her element, a dark elf prince with unnatural fire magic, a blood sidhe merchant’s son with ambitions beyond business, and a mischievous swarm of pixies, Sanyare: The Last Descendant is a fast paced modern faerie tale with epic themes and a new adult tone. Start your adventure across the nine realms today!

About the Author
Legend has it, I was born with a book in my hands. When I was a kid, my mom would ground me from reading in order to get me to do my chores. To this day, I can readily ignore the real world in favor of the imaginary one lurking between the pages of my current addiction. My dad — also an avid reader — introduced me to Tolkien in my late elementary years, and I never looked back. I love escaping to worlds where magic and monsters are real, especially stories with kick-butt heroines and dangerously attractive heroes.
Despite my voracious book appetite, I didn’t start creative writing until I was working as a number cruncher in a big accounting firm. With an hour plus commute by train every day, and a demanding left-brain occupation, I needed a mobile creative outlet. A pen and paper are about as mobile as it gets! As the pages began to fill, I quickly moved onto a tiny laptop, and a writer was born. Now I get to create my own fantasies!
I currently live in Southern California with my wonderfully supportive husband, two daughters, and a ridiculously energetic dog.
