Feature & Follow Friday

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!
How does this work? The goal is to increase blog followers and make friends. First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools — keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code at the end of the Linky and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

This week's question:

Have any pets? Tell us or show us!

I have four cats and three dogs.

Three of my cats are rescues and are just your standard alley cat. My fourth is a Selkirk Rex who won several best in show awards as a kitten before he became a member of our household. My cat, Mouse, was left behind by the neighbors when they moved. He's the one I always complain about helping me write. He likes to press the keys of my laptop with his paws.

Kilala is my smallest dog. She's a Papillon, and I'm holding her in my profile picture. I also have a standard Goldendoodle, Gucci, who has the height of a Poodle with the girth of a Golden Retriever. He weighs about 75 pounds and can be quite intimidating when he bares his teeth. Yes, even though he's a cute, fluffy white dog, he thinks he's a guard dog. My middle dog is a miniature Goldendoodle named Aurora. She's the sweetest of my brood.

You can follow however you like. I'm not picky :)

    1. Aurora and Kilala are curled up together asleep on the bed. Sooo cute. Finally some peace and quiet.

  3. Hopping through. Does the Rex have that quasi-hairless look? I used to pet-sit a Cornish Rex. Very unusual looking but I grew to love him.

    1. No, this cat is a curly haired Persian. Very bad combination. He mats like you wouldn't believe!

  4. You have a full house too! We foster dogs and have two of our own. At one time we had 4 dogs and two cats. Our female cat ran the pack! She seriously kept all the dogs in line. New bloglovin follower

    1. I had a female cat like that. She was eight pounds and would walk up to the big dog and bop him in the nose. Someone declawed her before we rescued her so at least she didn't hurt him.

    1. Kilala is a little bundle of energy. Papillons are very agile and can leap quite high. Makes barricading during housebreaking difficult. She would jump over any obstacle in her way. Usually not the first try though. She'd bounce and bounce. Adorable.

  15. Ooh I wish you would've posted a picture of your Selkirk Rex! I have one who is a Persian mix that I adopted from someone who couldn't care for her anymore. They are quite adorable but... a lot of maintenance!

    1. I found a groomer who does a lovely job trimming his fur to about an inch in length and giving him a lion tail. Asher is much happier with short hair. His long fur is kinkier than a poodle and no amount of brushing could keep it from matting.
